Treasure in Ranthambhore – My sister Rebecca, my friend Lisa, and I took a 36 day trip to India
in 2014.  The highlight of the trip was the sighting of two female tigers.  One, the pregnant daughter was
chasing her aging mother out of her old and familiar territory.  Tigers do not share space.
This dramatic encounter was experienced by us during the final 35 minutes of our third and last trip into
the Ranthambhore National Park.  We were hysterical!  As I made the pastel drawing, incorporating
copper and gold leaf, I realized how easily tigers just disappeared into the wild vegetation – orange
 fur black stripes and all!  This drawing then became my Treasure in Ranthambhore charmeuse silk scarf.
